We’ve spent most of our lives on the magnificent Chesapeake Bay, and we care deeply about its health and future viability. With that in mind, from the very first day of business, we’ve tried to “go green”whenever possible, using sustainable landscaping practices, environmentally-sensitive design principles, and bay-friendly, organic products in our landscapes.
Contact us to learn how we can help you to garden using native plants, rain gardens, passive irrigation, rainwater capture, and xeriscaping (planting with drought-tolerant plants,) all means to conserve precious water. Or, schedule a consultation with a designer to design a lovely native planting that can replace the water-hungry lawn you’ve grown tired of mowing while providing habitat and food for birds and other wildlife. Together we can work to safeguard the unique and wonderful treasure in our backyard.
We’ve taken the Chesapeake Bay Foundation’s Gardeners for the Bay Pledge to garden in ways that protect the bay.
Our clients have also worked with us to design gardens and implement gardening techniques that have gained them the University of Maryland Cooperative Extension “BAY-WISE” garden designation.
